TCA Abu Dhabi Press Release: Literary Evenings to enthrall audiences at Qasr Al Muwaiji
TCA Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Poetry Academy, opens series this Saturday with evening dedicated to the literary arts
All India, 15th February 2017: Playing host to the annual programme of cultural and artistic activities to be held in Al Ain throughout 2017, Qasr Al Muwaiji will host the first session of the ‘Literary Evenings in Muwaiji’ series on Saturday, February 18th. The series aims to celebrate and honour Arabic, Oriental and International literature creation. The evenings will present a variety of literary selections from Emirati and international novels, short stories, poetry, and prose.
In collaboration with the Poetry Academy, the evening will commence with Ayoub Yousif’s linguistic variations inspired from the Arabic language. Yousif is known for his distinguished talent in echoing the past with his contemporary linguistic choices. This will be followed by Nabati poets from the Academy, who will also be performing prose inspired by Emirati heritage.
The programme provides a multitude of ways for visitors to interact with the Emirate’s cherished history, and has been curated to support the UNESCO theme ‘Protecting our Heritage and Fostering Creativity’. It will run throughout 2017 at several iconic locations across the emirates Garden City, and offers various events for both visitors and residents alike
