Renowned fashion designer Ranna Gill comes together with Mauritius Tourism for her show at the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013

Participating for the first time at LFW; the designer to display the country’s vibrant art and culture through her latest couture collection

All India, 8th Aug 2013: Delhi based leading fashion designer Ranna Gill will showcase for the first time at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. Associating with Mauritius Tourism, her couture collection is inspired by the diverse blend of cultures of the popular island nation. Synonymous with impeccable style and panache; Ranna’s creations on the ramp will bring to life the beautiful art forms of the tropical destination through a highly fashionable depiction.

Commenting on the association, the Minister of Tourism, Republic of Mauritius – Hon. Michael Sik Yuen says, ‘Mauritius’ cultural affinity has always been associated with glamour and fashion.  Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority has associated with Lakmé Fashion Week to further enhance the destination’s appeal in the Indian market. We have tied up with renowned Indian designer Ranna Gill for the promotion during Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013.  She would be presenting a special couture line, highlighting the essence of Mauritius, during the event. We feel that Lakmé Fashion Week provides a pertinent platform to showcase destination Mauritius and we are looking forward to further building this association.”
